Check out the summary:
Two is always better than one.
That’s what they say. And honestly, it’s true. Angela hasn’t seen her old friend Jake in a year. When she finally sees him again, he looks much different than he did before.
Not only did he bulk up, but an equally hunky man introduces himself as Jake’s roommate. This visit could get interesting. Angela promises herself that she’ll be good, but she’s said that before.
Dive into this sizzling read where the sensual tension is palpable, leading up to a point where the men are willing to share her if it means they see any action at all.

I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. Jake’s asking had quickly turned into pleading. I could tell how badly he wanted me to visit by his persistence alone. I didn’t understand why he was in such a rush. Summer break was only five days old, and there was plenty of time.
It had been a year since I’d last seen Jake. After I went away to college, I hadn’t bothered to come home. I remembered that summer, inviting him to move across the country to the same college as me, but he was pretty determined with the path he’d chosen. I hadn’t expected him to be so enamored with the idea of being an underwater welder, but when I mentioned it, he grinned at me and said, “Pays like crazy.” Goofy, a bit silly, and adventurous as hell, but that was what I loved about Jake.
“Fine,” I texted back with a smile. Good-natured ribbing was, of course, to be expected. “But dibs on your couch.” No way I was going to stay with my parents. They expected me to be a good, sweet, virginal girl and save myself for my future husband. They had practically disowned me when I told them I was going to college to get a career without caring to find my prince charming.
“Deal! I have a great couch. The nicest one in town.”
I grinned. He always seemed to get that out of me.
The trip wasn’t long or particularly eventful. I grabbed a cab, took a train, then another cab. That wasn’t the exciting part, though. The thought of seeing Jake again after this whole year was what I really looked forward to. Even after playing a little hard to get by ignoring his pleading, I admittedly couldn’t wait to see him again.
Jake didn’t live at his old place anymore. As soon as we finished high school, he used the money from his part time job to get himself an apartment just outside downtown. We’d both grown up in the suburbs, in an area where in order to get anywhere took a half hour on foot. He really didn’t like where we used to live.
After a bit of searching, I found it. Despite being close to downtown, the street was actually pretty quiet. The complex was something of a gated community, interestingly enough. I pressed a few buttons on the keypad outside to open the gate to the horseshoe-shaped setup.
Entering inside, I followed Jake’s instructions to head to the back and found his apartment in one of the furthest buildings. At the top of the stairs, I reached apartment M302 and knocked on the door.
The man who answered certainly wasn’t Jake. In front of me stood a bold statue with blond hair and piercing blue eyes, dressed in a tight shirt that showed off his beautiful shoulders. I swallowed, looking at the gorgeous specimen of a man in front of me, who regarded me with a slight smile.
I tried to speak, but I’d forgotten how. There was something intoxicating about him, arousing. I couldn’t stop my eyes from tracing down his body.

Interesting stuff. I’m a fan of the Mickey Knight series by J.M.Edmann.

Great post! It’s so awesome that you’re getting your work published. I’m currently a Creative Writing student, and I always have trouble with these types of scenes and making sure I’m not going overboard on the detail.
Thanks, also, for liking my Brooklyn review blog post and taking the time to read it. I hope you enjoyed it! I’m new to the blogging world and it’s always great to get feedback from readers, as well as advice from a fellow blogger. Any tips or feedback you’d be willing to give me? Feel free to follow me if you’d like! I’ll be posting new books reviews weekly.
Again, thanks for reading!
